Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional Welcome our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel. After breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi - Agra ( Via Mathura & Vrindavan) (220 km/ 5 hrs)

Today morning we will take you for New Delhi guided tour visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple.Later in the afternoon we leave for Agra via visiting Mathura & Vrindavan, related to the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna. Upon arrival in Agra assistance and check-in hotel. In the evening enjoy the magic show performed by the local magician and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Agra/Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikari (250 km/ 5 hrs.)

Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinated the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After breakfast you will leave for a half day sightseeing visiting Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra Fort, post lunch we leave for Jaipur via visiting Fatehpur Sikari, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance of its palaces and courts. Next we head to Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will meet & assist you to check-in at our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Jaipur

Early morning after breakfast 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride the elephant back and reach the Fort situated on the hill and then visit the Fort Palace. Later we visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Excursion to Chokhi Dhani Today we will take you for evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5 : Jaipur / Delhi (260 km / 6 hrs)

Post breakfast, we drive to National capital New Delhi. Upon arrival assistance and check at our hotel in Delhi. In the evening at 1800 hrs we will go for Sound and Light show, the eventful history Red Fort has been witness to is brought out as a sound and light show every evening on the ramparts of the Red Fort. For those desirous of delving into Delhi's glorious and tumultuous past at the Red Fort. Overnight stay.

Day 6 : Delhi - Leh (By Air)

Morning on-time transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Leh. Upon arrival in Leh you are met by our representative and transferred to our Hotel. Complete rest for the day and acclimatisation. Later in theafternoon walk around Leh town and a visit to Leh Market. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 7 : Leh Monasteries

After breakfast proceed for Indus Valley monastery tour. We start with a visit to Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh. The monastery here has a huge gold-gilded statue of Buddha Sakyamuni with a large silver lamp burning in front of the statue. Then we visit Thiksey Monastery (Gompa), an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. The monastery has a beautiful 30 m high gold-plated statue of Maitreya Buddha, the Buddha of thefuture. Drive further to visit the famous Hemis Gompa, founded in the year 1630 by Stag-tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Sengge Namgyal. Hemis is one of the largest and richest monasteries of Ladakh. The two-day festival of monastic dance in July/August has raised the reputation of Hemis particularly high. The festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava, popularly known as second Buddha and responsible for spreading Buddhism in the Tibetan world. Later we visit the Stok Palace, the Royal residence of the King of Stok & the Museum that has a rich collection of Ancient Ladakhi artefacts including old Thangkas, precious stones, arms and armoury, the Queen's necklace and the crown of the King of Ladakh among others. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 8 : Leh - Chumathang - Tsomoriri (240 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Chumathang via Upshi. Chumathang is famous for hot springs famous for its medicinal properties. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 km drive will take you to Tsomoriri Lake. The Lake is breeding ground for numerous species of birds, chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Km wide and 28 Km long. Overnight in stay at the Camp.

Day 9 : Tsomoriri - Korzok - Puga - Tsokar - Tanglangla -Leh

After breakfast drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of hot water geyser (shooting fountain) and white clouds hanging upon. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka Pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake) and one can also visit Thugke gompa. The place is famous for wild Asses (Kiangs), which are generally seen here grazing and moving in groups. From here short drive and reach Leh - Manali road. Continue drive towards Leh via Tanglangla Pass (5329m), the third highest motorable point in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening and check-in at your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10 : Leh-Likir-Alchi-Lamayuru (134 km)

After breakfast we drive to Likir and visit Likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff top overlooking the beautiful village of Likir. It was founded in the 12th Century although the present construction dates back to the 18th century as the original one was destroyed by fire. In its courtyard is a yellow-coloured 3 storey high mammoth statue of the Lord Buddha, which was constructed by a resident monk. The top floor has an impressive museum containing old thangkas and weapons used many centuries back. Then we drive and cross the River Indus and reach Alchi, Ladakh's most loved monastery. Over a century old, its wall paintings are very similar to those of the Tabo gompa in Spiti, Himachal Pradesh. Unlike other monasteries, which are usually on a cliff top or cling to a mountainside, Alchi is at ground level and is nestled in the shade of a garden. After Alchi, we have an option to visit the impressive Ridzong Gompa, reached from the road head after a 30-minute uphill walk. It's an impressive monastery well hidden in the lap of the mountains until you're face to face with it. It is situated on the mountainside wedged in between 2 ends of a ridge. It is about 100 years old and the name means 'mountain fort' aptly describing this isolated Gompa. It also has a nunnery of female monks. Finally we reach Lamayuru monastery, founded by Rinchen Zangpo in the 10th century. This Gompa is located amidst the massive mountains. The spectacular setting of this Gompa and its renowned collection of carpets, thangkas, and frescoes has been attracting many people over a long time. It is believed to be the oldest in central Ladakh.Overnight stay Hotel in Lamayuru.

Day 11 : Lamayuru - Leh: (124 km)

In the morning we visit the Lamayuru monastery to be part of the morning religious ceremony. It's a very soothing and spiritual experience to be there among these warm and friendly monks. On our way back to leh we can visit Basgo monastery famous for its statue of Buddha. Overnight in the Hotel Lha-Rimo

Day 12 : Leh Monasteries

After breakfast we leave for a Half day tour visiting Shankar Gompa, Leh Palace Ruins, Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Later in the afternoon we visit Stakna, and Leh Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13 : Leh - Delhi (By Air)

Transfer to the Airport to catch the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi we assist you to check in at our prearranged Hotel. Day at leisure to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
